We got a beautiful timber delivery from our friends at Restoration Timber SF (http://www.restorationtimber.com)   Reclaimed water tank wood for the deck boards and some 24” slabs recovered from some very old beams.   Can’t wait to see these finished and in place for the benches.  Going to be very modern look surrounding the fire table and wood dinner table.   Reclaimed wood can add a depth and antiquity to any project, inside or out.  I love seeing how the first uses’ patina and age can be embellished the second time around.  Wood can be very liquid in it’s uses so keep an eye out for old hardwoods or redwood to use as a new bench, deck or fence.   I love it when our clients will let us get creative with our sources.  Sometimes we can find useable materials from right under our noses…
